Since Ethan Trekas was a child, he knew that his life was made for more. Now as a full time student at the University of South Carolina, he knows what it means to work hard and play hard. To help with his time management and developmental skills, Ethan has been training non-stop to achieve his goals and work toward the advancement of society.
When I was 5, Sarah Hartwell stole a cookie out of my lunch box. Instead of fighting with her, I came up with a solution. "You keep that cookie, Sarah," I said, "As long as you pass it on." You see, if Sarah took that cookie and broke it into four pieces, then passed three pieces of that cookie to her friends, four people would get to enjoy the cookie. And that's when I had an even better idea: what if we applied that same philosophy to life? What if we each took one thing we had and passed that thing on to three of our friends, and then those people passed that thing we gave them to three of their friends, and those friends did the same. Eventually, we would have no more poverty, no more war, no more sickness, and an overall sense of world peace.
